Headquarters has been a strange place. Tensions have run high. Life has grown complicated. The Mob has been tested. I love Mob 3. Making music in a collaborative environment is good for any musician. Making music with friends is good for the spirit. I know that the Calendar Project consumes allot of my attention but playing with others has made the audioblog even better. I plan on playing in Mob 3, in any and every form it takes for the duration. Bumps in the road don't scare me.

The Butterbear Abduction Ransom Payment
Sorry for the late posting. So much has been going on I wanted to have all of my facts straight. Yesterday Mr. X confirmed via phone to me that Cayla has paid. He stopped the death clock the moment he received payment. I sense a collective sigh of relief. Although I share in that sentiment we are not out of the woods yet. Until this poor bear is returned to her owners' arms we wait with baited breath. According to Mr. X Cayla did pay the exact amount and wrote every thing as instructed. It is not however safe to assume that this means he will return her safely. Cayla did pay in time but it was close. She only had 2 hours and 28 minutes and 26 seconds. There has been allot of chatter both here and on my IM service. Some people are passing themselves off as Cayla. Some as Mr. X. Many people are just concerned citizens worried about this helpless bear. Obviously the posting about Cayla wanting to see her bear before she paid was a farce. I have to say, Mr. X did seem disappointed that she paid. It's almost as if he was looking forward to the carnage that was about to ensue. This is far from over. Will our villain return Butterbear to safety? Will we ever know the true identity of Mr. X? Will he ever be brought to justice. I hope we learn sooner than later.

The Butterbear Abduction "Time Keeps On Slipping"
On July 6th, 2008 Mr. X received another message from Cayla. It was sent through an IM service. The i.d. for Mr. X is cmorin, the alias he's used from the start. Cayla has wasted some very precious time. According to his response I don't suspect he is about to start negotiating. How did Cayla get this user i.d.? Did he make first contact? Was this the method of their last correspondence? All we know is Cayla has wasted some very precious time.

The Butterbear Abduction Death Clock
I've been that Mr. X received a message from Cayla through unknown means. In this message she said and I quote, "You're Sick!" He then told her that the clock was ticking. She acknowledged this and let him know that she would be sending the payment. This conversation took place Thursday July 3, 2008 at 2:15 pm. That would mean according to the threats that she has one week from exactly that moment. Let's hope she waste no time.
Will Cayla address the envelope exactly as instructed?
Will she waste no time in order to save her friend?

The Butterbear Abduction "Kidnapping"
I just received this video from an anonymous source that shows the actual kidnapping of Butterbear. In this video we see that the accomplice of Mr. X may actually be the master mind. We also learn she might be one hell of a cook. Watch this video at you own risk for it is very disturbing. What can this mean for Butterbear and Cayla? What are the dynamics of the realationship between Mr. X and this women? What kind of stew is she making? I fear if Cayla doesn't act soon, it's Wuzzle Soup!
There is no doubt the women in charge in this video is the same that posed with Butterbear in the captivity photos. Just How far will she go? Is she the mastermind behind this. Hang in there Butterbear, hang in there.

The Butterbear Abduction Terrorist Video
Cayla's ransom note directed her to a video. In this video we can see just how serious this masked kidnapper is. He wields a knife and makes demands while allowing the viewer insight on how intensely dangerous he is. His accomplice filmed him in this terrorist style clip that is not for the faint of heart.
His demands are:
He wants $ll.ll in the form of a money order, made out to Craig Morin, sent to
Attention: Mr. X
Craig's Barbershop
110 Main St.
Spencer, Ma.
01562
It is obvious that Craig Morin is an untraceable alias used by Mr. X to conceal his true identity. This is why the website, the address and the money order all use this name. This is truly a dangerous individual and not to be taken lightly. He threatened to mail a piece of Butterbear consistently until the ransom is paid. He stressed that if his instructions where not met exactly the consequences would be dire. In the video Mr. X says he'll "mail a piece everyday" and "if you fail to address the envelope wrong." These are obvious heat of the moment mistakes since he clarified his demands with the blog posting. Ms. Morin is clearly dealing with a criminal mastermind.
How will this all play out?
What hope is there for Butterbear.
We wait with baited breath.

The Butterbear Abduction Captivity Photos
Today I received in the mail these photos. They show a tortured wuzzle and her captors. Obviously sick and sadistic we now know exactly what kind of monsters we are dealing with. In these Abu Ghraib style photographs we see various humiliating poses Butterbear was forced to comply with. We can only hope Cayla will follow the instructions of the ransom note and see a quick resolve to this matter. We learn from these photos that Mr. X is not alone. There is one confusing image of a very hansom man wearing the hood of Mr. X posing with the young wuzzle. It is obviously safe to assume that this is not Mr. X nor one of his accomplices for he is far to attractive. He is probably just a passer by who was forced to pose for the picture to throw us off the trail of Mr. X's true identity. We can also see the face of one truly sick individual who is by no means shy. It is important to note that none of these are the photographs Ms. Morin received with the ransom note.
Will Cayla do the right thing and buy Butterbear's freedom?
Will Mr. X and his twisted companion release her if their demands are met?
We can only hope.

The Butterbear Abduction Ransom Note
Cayla received in the mail a ransom note and 2 still photos of Butterbear in captivity.
The note and photos reveal just how serious the captors are. The wuzzle is clearly scared and fears for her life. The note read as followed:
Cayla,
If you want to see your bear alive, go to www.craigmorin.tk Follow the insructions exactly!
Love Mr. X
Who exactly is this Mr. X?
What is his motivation?
Is he alone on this?
Our prayers are with Butterbear and longing friend Cayla
The Butterbear Abduction
On June 22, 2008 best friend and bed companion of Cayla Morin went missing. After two attempts on her life, the wuzzle Butterbear had vanished with only a note in her place.
The note read:
"Cayla,
If you want to see your bear again, wait by your mailbox for instruction."
Cayla had this to say:
"Give me back my fucking bear you fucking asshole."
Concern for the bear is immense because the nature of these maniacs is unknown. How far will they go? What are they capable of?
Sadly, we will have to wait and see.

Rachel Blake Video One
The story told through the game can best be understood from watching the videos. So here the are...
The Begining
The game had been broken down into distinct stages, with a separate objective in each. Reports suggested it would consist of five stages (i.e. this press release).
Stage 1
Bad Twin, the Lost tie-in novel written by Gary Troup
Bad Twin, the Lost tie-in novel written by Gary Troup
The first stage of the game centred around the "official" Hanso Foundation website and involved players in discovering clues hidden within the site left by a hacker known only at the time as Persephone. These clues cast doubt on the Foundation's claims of benevolence towards the human race, and introduced other characters in the game. This stage of the game was promoted by Hanso Foundation Commercials airing on ABC, Channel 7, and Channel 4, as well as cosponsorship deals with Sprite, Jeep, Verizon, and Monster.com. Additionally, a conspiracy-minded radio host DJ Dan joined Persephone's fight against Hanso.
A tie-in novel, Bad Twin, was published in May 2006 under the fictitious author Gary Troup, who (in the show) was aboard Oceanic Flight 815 and whose manuscript was discovered by Hurley, read by Sawyer, and burned (at least partially) by Jack. Video interviews with Troup were scattered across the web, containing references to Troup's out-of-print "nonfiction" book The Valenzetti Equation. The exact relationship of the novel's story to that of Lost isn't clear, but the timing of the book's publication, as well as the 'scavenger hunt' sensibility of the interview clips, suggests that Troup and Bad Twin were another piece of The Lost Experience puzzle.

The Lost Experience
This is the Lostpedia definition of the Lost Experience.
The Lost Experience (TLE) was an alternate reality game (ARG) designed by the writers and producers of Lost to engage fans and expand the storyline. It was the first Lost ARG, although it was preceded by ABC marketing department's viral marketing website oceanic-air.com. The Lost Exprience began in May 2006 during the broadcast of the last few episodes of Season 2 in the United States and the UK (and mid-season in Australia), and ran through the hiatus until just before the start of Season 3. It was followed in 2008 by a smaller-scale ARG called Find 815, between the end of Season 3 and the beginning of Season 4.
Here is a video that explains the concept.

Lost
Okay everybody. I have been trying to tell the world about how good Lost really is. I know the show gets confusing but it is it's depth that makes it so good. One of the best things about it is the interactive quality to it. Two online games have been created to deepen the lost universe and give us some of the answers we don't get within the show. These games had corresponding videos packed with information. I've done all the work of finding them...you just have to enjoy watching them.
